It’s been quite interesting to follow all the responses Chris Brogan’s received from his post; there are a lot of people thinking in threes!

I love this! First off, I’ve long been an advocate of “threes”. Almost anyone can remember three things. When you add a fourth or fifth item, inevitably the elegance of the short list starts to blur.
My three favorite words have been “clarity, simplicity and focus” for the last 20 years. They have guided both my personal and professional career and have provided much needed guidance when the world does a really good job of being “fuzzy, complex and diverse”.

Dear Holly,

I think you do what you can do right now, but just the fact that we’re writing about it make us thing, and maybe even change our approaches. I deal with poverty in Brazil all the time, in every traffic light. Brasilia is a city of huge social and economic divide. I am in the privileged side, but I can’t just not see what’s out there. My sister-in-law made a very moving documentary about the homeless in Brasilia. I wonder if we could find a way to post to others to see. I’ll talk to her about it.
