Quote: Elie Wiesel

Elie Wiesel:  “The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference.”

I love this quote!  I so admire Elie Wiesel.

The quote reminds me of my early-teaching days mantra (especially while teaching middle school):  “Abolish apathy.”

Admiring Elie Wiesel humbles me, causes me to reflect once again on why it is that I revert to ‘whining’ or ‘complaining’ when life has given and continues to offer me so many treasures.

[we humans are an odd lot, eh?...]
